The Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region

The Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, also known as the children's hospital, was established in January 1965 and is now a comprehensive treatment center integrating healthcare, medical treatment, scientific research and teaching.

Covering a floor area of 29,158 square meters, the hospital has 840 inpatient beds and 2,472 staff members. Listed as Guangxi's first baby-friendly hospital in 1993, it consists of five departments: prenatal care, healthcare for women and children, outpatient, a laboratory and an administrative department.

Supported by a host of specialists and skilled medical staff, the hospital has received 212 national and regional titles. Its pediatric and obstetrics departments, and intensive care unit are listed as regional key clinical specialties.

In 2016, it was identified as Guangxi Clinical Medical Research Center for Fetal Diseases, and its fetal medicine and prenatal diagnostic services were improved. The hospital has strengthened international communication and cooperation in recent years, and conducted a training program with the United States, which helped to train seven foreign doctors, enhancing its international competitiveness and good reputation.
