Lianyungang TCM Hospital

Lianyungang TCM Hospital, founded in 1948, is a national 3A-grade hospital integrating medical treatment, first aid, scientific research, rehabilitation and health preservation.

The hospital is affiliated with Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Kangda College of Nanjing Medical University.

It has 620 patient beds and the annual patient number in outpatient and emergency departments has reached about 550,000, while the annual number of patients discharged amounted to 20,000.

Currently the hospital employs more than 850 staff members and 162 of them have senior titles. The encephalopathy department is a national key TCM clinical department, and the departments of proctology, nephrology, stone treatment and rehabilitation are listed as provincial key TCM clinical departments. Eighteen departments are among municipal key TCM clinical departments, including orthopedics and cardiology.

The hospital enjoys a beautiful environment and has a cultural center showcasing TCM culture built inside the hospital. The hospital also has a 1,500-square-meter preparation center producing 89 kinds of hospital preparations.

The emergency treatment capacity has been improved after the hospital fully opened an emergency green treatment channel. It has the most advanced network information management system and pharmacy automation platform in Lianyungang, along with a batch of advanced medical equipment such as MRI, DSA, DR, spiral CT, laparoscope, arthroscope and capsule endoscopy.
