Nanjing Communications Institute of Technology

Nanjing Communications Institute of Technology (referred to as NJCI), affiliated to Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation, is a full-time institute of higher learning, and established under the approval of Jiangsu People's Provincial Government. NJCI originated from Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Cadres' School in 1953, and got the name Jiangsu Transportation School in 1964 and the present name in 2001 for the achievements she had gained in her development history. NJCI has gained such reputations as Excellent School of Higher Vocational Talents Training awarded by the Ministry of Education, Model School of Higher Vocational Education awarded by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Model Base of Higher-skilled Talents Training awarded by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education,  Director-general School of Jiangsu Transportation Vocational Education Group, and The Cradle of Higher-skilled Talents Training awarded by Jiangsu Provincial Government.
