Huai’an Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital, first established in 1958, is a 3A-grade hospital offering medical treatment, healthcare, rehabilitation, scientific research and medical training.
Affiliated to Yangzhou University Medical College, the hospital covers 1.47 hectares with a structure area of 50,100 square meters. A new campus is currently under construction, which is expected to cover 9.43 hectares and provide 800 patient beds. The overall investment for the construction project is 1.2 billion yuan ($178.18 million).
The hospital employs 1,147 staff members and more than 120 of those have senior titles. It has four provincial key clinical specialties: pediatric surgery, obstetrics, neonatology and pediatric rehabilitation. The hospital was the first of its kind in Huai’an area to conduct in vitro fertilization.
