The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University

The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University, also known as the Hospital of Xuzhou Coal Mining Group, was the largest enterprise hospital in Jiangsu.

Established in 1971, the hospital has developed over the past four decades to become a national 3A-grade comprehensive hospital covering 45,000 square meters.

It also has 19 medical service centers in Xuzhou, forming a professional medical consortium in Huaian Economic Zone with Xuzhou at its center.

The hospital now has 32 inpatient wards, 39 clinical departments and 12 medical laboratories. Four of the departments are listed as provincial key specialties, namely neurology, cardiovascular medicine, respiratory medicine and orthopedics.

The hospital boasts a highly-skilled workforce, with 368 members of staff holding senior titles.

It currently provides 1,800 beds for patients along with 178 types of advanced medical equipment, including an intelligent linear accelerator, GE Revolution CT, GE3.0T750w MRI scanner, and a gamma knife.

In order to improve the quality of its medical services, the hospital works with prestigious medical schools and hospitals at home and abroad, including the University of Oxford and Jiangsu Cancer Hospital.
