Xuzhou Cancer Hospital

Xuzhou Cancer Hospital, also known as Xuzhou Third People’s Hospital and Jiangsu Province People’s Hospital of Xuzhou Branch, was set up in 1964 and is affiliated to Jiangsu University.

The hospital currently covers a total area of 17,300 square meters and its structure area reaches 63,700 sq m. It has more than 300 pieces of advanced equipment each worth over 10,000 yuan ($1,468), including a CT scanner, PET machine, linear accelerator, and nuclear magnetic resonance detector.

Currently, the hospital employs 1,453 staff members and 314 of them have senior titles. It has 1,100 beds, including 600 VIP beds along with 1,500 parking spaces for patients.

Eleven of the hospital’s specialties are listed as municipal key specialties, including its radiation oncology, medical oncology, galactophore, anesthesiology, pharmacy, medical imaging, and geriatric departments.

The hospital also operates the first modern radiation therapy center in Xuzhou, offering comprehensive high-quality medical services for patients, including biotherapy, interventional therapy and chemotherapy.
