Zhenjiang No 4 People’s Hospital

Zhenjiang No 4 People’s Hospital, also known as Zhenjiang Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Zhenjiang Children’s Hospital, was established in 1952.

Over the past 60 years, the hospital has grown into a modern comprehensive 3A-grade hospital offering high-quality healthcare, as well as providing training for medical staff and carrying out scientific research.

The facility covers a total area of 28,000 square meters and the floorage area of medical facilities totals 49,000 sq m. It provides 353 beds with the annual number of patients treated by its outpatient and emergency departments reaching 446,400 in 2017, with the hospital discharging 15,270.

The hospital currently employs 778 staff members and 143 of them hold senior titles. It has 48 clinical departments while its child healthcare department is listed as a provincial key clinical specialty; an additional three departments are listed at the municipal level.

The reproductive medicine center in the hospital is the only one in Zhenjiang currently approved to offer fertility services.

Zhenjiang Children’s Hospital, located inside Zhenjiang No 4 People’s Hospital, has a total area of 1,601.3 sq m and contains six floors.

The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, including pediatric wards and neonatal wards, along with a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
