Finalists of patent cultivation layout competition to be released

The list of the top 100 projects that made the final of the 2019 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area High-value Patent Cultivation Layout Competition will be released soon.

The competition, the first of its kind in the Greater Bay Area, is organized by the Guangdong Market Regulation Administration, the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department, Macao Economic Bureau and Zhuhai Municipal People's Government. It is aimed at raising awareness of high-value patent cultivation layout and propelling innovation-driven development in the area.

Nearly 600 upcoming patents and patents released into the market over the last two years took part in the competition, of which 400 passed the preliminary review. The winners will receive prize money or equivalent intellectual property services, and receive recommendations from investment institutions.
