Garden Expo Park photo contest launched

A Find the Beauty of Garden Expo Park photo contest has been launched, soliciting excellent photographic works taken by visitors during their tour of the 12th China International Garden Expo in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Both professionals and amateurs are welcomed to participate by sending their digital works to nnrbstpxwzx@163.com before May 20. The content can be about horticulture, natural scenery, ecological environment, folk customs, and more.

There is no limitation on styles or colors, and moderate adjustments on brightness, contrast, and saturation are allowed. However, contestants must own the legal copyright of the submitted works, which shall not be composited or significantly altered.

The camera shooting and cellphone shooting categories will each recognize two grand prizes, three first prizes, 10 second prizes, 20 third prizes, 40 honorable prizes, and 100 enlisted winners. The highest prize money will be up to 10,000 yuan ($1,488).

The 12th China International Garden Expo, which runs from December 2018 to May 2019, has attracted 44 Chinese cities, as well as 19 cities from members of ASEAN and countries along the Belt and Road routes, to showcase new concepts, technology, and products related to urban construction.
