Shanxi solar power products shine at Ukraine

Shanxi province's top photovoltaic module manufacturer Jinergy attracted the widespread attention of Ukrainian power station constructors, investors and other overseas companies at CI Solar 2019 staged in Ukraine on April 17-18. 

It was the first time Jinergy had attended the premier solar energy conference and trade show for Central and Eastern Europe. The PV module manufacturer displayed many innovations, such as mono passivated emitter rear cell modules and heterojunction modules, which have high power generation capacity and efficiency.

The Ukrainian PV market has become one of the hot overseas emerging markets that Chinese companies have been competing in since 2018, with it first ranking in the top 10 overseas export markets for Chinese PV companies last year.

Jinergy's attendance of CI Solar underscored that the company had officially entered this promising market, which is an important part of its plans for global expansion and international recognition. The company has so far signed contracts to supply over 100 megawatts of units in Ukraine.

The PV module manufacturer's overseas market shipments accounted for more than 40 percent of its total shipments last year, and the proportion is expected to reach 50 percent this year.

In addition, the company was also ranked as a Tier-1 PV module manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance in February.
