Four Zhuhai companies among top 100 by foreign trade

Four Zhuhai companies were listed among the top 100 foreign trade enterprises in Guangdong province, according to a list released at the 11th China Processing Trade Products Fair held in Dongguan.

The list was compiled by the Guangdong Foreign Economic Trade Enterprise Association based on an overall assessment on foreign trade value and forms, commodity structure, and influence under the supervision of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province.

Seventy export enterprises and 30 import enterprises made the list. Eighty percent of them are engaged in information technology and advanced equipment manufacturing. The Zhuhai entries include Gree Electric Appliances, Zhuhai Xiaomi Communications, Flex, and Zhuhai Zhen Rong Co.

In 2018 the total import-export value of Zhuhai exceeded 324.6 billion yuan ($48.4 billion), whose growth rate ranked third in the province.
