Inner Mongolia Forestry General Hospital is the northernmost comprehensive hospital in China. It is located at the intersection of Hulunbuir Grassland and the Great Hinggan Mountains in Yakeshi, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. It received the title of "Second Clinical School of Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities" in 2012.

The hospital provides 1,500 inpatient beds and has 36 clinical departments, six clinical laboratories and 14 clinical teaching and research rooms. It serves around 340,000 outpatients and 26,000 inpatients each year. 

In addition, it has 640 million yuan ($95.4 million) in assets and owns 48 medical items worth more than 1 million yuan.

And the hospital employs 1,726 staff members, with two experts in receipt of a special allowance from the State Council, and two holding doctorates.

Endocrinology is the hospital's specialist discipline, with clinical nursing and interventional radiology as its key disciplines .
