Qilu Children's Hospital of Shandong University

Qilu Children's Hospital is a class A tertiary hospital established in 1957. The hospital delivers comprehensive care to patients, including clinical care, innovative scientific research, rigorous medical education, rehabilitation and healthcare. The hospital is affiliated to Shandong University, also the leader member of Beijing Children's Hospital Corporation, Qilu Children's Hospital Corporation. The hospital is home to 38 clinical departments, two academician workstations, has over 1,000 beds, 1,500 staff members, 1,274 clinical staff members including 200 professors, 30 supervisors and 300 with master's or doctoral degrees. It handles over a million patient visits a year, including discharging an annual average of 40,000 patients and inpatients from out of town.

Qilu Children's Hospital has been awarded the national model hospital of quality service, the national model hospital of building harmonious doctor-patient relationships，the Distinguished Unit of National Health Civilization, the National Trust Demonstration Hospital, Shandong Provincial Civilization unit and lots of awards in the children's healthcare industry.

As the new inpatient clinic building has been put into use in 2018, it has relieved the lack of inpatient beds. The hospital is implementing a plan to establish a stand-alone pediatric hospital delivering comprehensive service beyond the prosperous urban centers as well as a regional pediatric medical center with a high reputation across the country.
