SND seeks integration of advanced manufacturing with internet

The Cyphy Industry Internet Institute was recently launched in Suzhou New District (SND), Jiangsu province, local media reported.

The industrial internet, a result of integration between new-generation information technology and the manufacturing industry, has increasingly become an important contributor to the upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries.

The management committee of SND will cooperate with the newly-founded institute to develop a group of typical companies, projects and service providers in the industrial internet so as to advance that upgrading.

Wu Xinming, head of the Suzhou district, said at the launch ceremony that the SND will take this opportunity to continue creating a favorable environment for the industrial internet and developing as a hub of innovation.
