Shenzhen Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine is a public 3A-grade Chinese medicine hospital with advanced equipment, complete functions and outstanding features. At present, the building area is 111,586 m2, and there are more than 809 open beds. It has 3,568 advanced pieces of equipment at home and abroad and equipment assets of 398 million. 

The hospital has 1,116 employees, including 155 senior titles and 302 intermediate titles. The hospital has 26 clinical departments and nine medical technology departments. It has three provincial key specialties and seven municipal specialties. 

The hospital has been approved for 169 scientific research projects at the national, provincial and municipal levels. It has three provincial science and technology achievement awards, 16 academic monographs, and 6 national patents. The hospital also has undertaken the task of teaching more than 700 undergraduate interns from many higher-level Chinese medicine colleges, including Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has already trained 68 graduate students. 

Based on the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, the hospital has established five national clinical research bases for Chinese medicine schools and supported five national-level academic genre experts in establishing a heritage studio.
