Many local enterprises show strengths at Canton Fair

The latest innovations and hi-tech products of 180 Zhuhai enterprises have gone on display at the world-eminent 125th China Import & Export Fair.

Leading companies Gree Electric Appliances, Jinpin Electrical, Gotech Intelligent Technology, Eastcompeace Technology, and EASI, are among 16 brand enterprises occupying 104 of 580 Zhuhai booths.

The Canton Fair opened in Guangzhou on April 15. Since 1957 it has been a barometer of foreign trade. Today it's a comprehensive international event with the longest history, largest size, most extensive exhibit variety, and largest buyer attendance in China.

This year, the expo features an exhibition area of 1.19 million sq m (293 acres) with over 60,000 booths booked by more than 25,000 domestic and foreign exhibitors, of which 2,296 are brand enterprises. Buyers hailing from more than 210 countries and regions are expected through May 5 over three phases.
