Jieyang People's Hospital is a 3A-grade general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, health care, rehabilitation and first aid. The hospital covers an area of nearly 50,000 square meters, with the construction area of its business buildings totaling 77,000 square meters. It currently has 1,780 employees, including 231 with senior titles.

The hospital has 2,379 open beds and several clinical and medical technology departments. It has five provincial-level clinical key specialties - intensive medicine, neurology, general surgery, thoracic surgery and pediatrics - and two departments for the provincial key support construction clinical specialties of gastroenterology and oncology. In addition, it has established multiple professional medical centers in east Guangdong province.
