Yangjiang People's Hospital is a comprehensive 3A-grade hospital. Located in Yangjiang city, it possesses the largest scale, the most advanced equipment and the strongest technical force, integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, health care and rehabilitation. It is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment, first aid, and preventative care of more than 2.8 million people.

The hospital now has 1,371 beds, 45 clinical disciplines and 10 medical departments. Covering an area of nearly 100,000 square meters, it is also building a 16-story inpatient facility with 2,000 beds. 

The hospital has 2,209 staff members in total, with 66 senior titles, 171 secondary senior titles, five provincial key specialties, one special specialty, two provincial key support construction specialists, 10 municipal key specialties, and two municipal specialties. 

In 2016, the number of outpatients hit 1.013 million, the number of inpatients reached 62,800, and the annual operation volume was 21,600.
