Jiangsu Cancer Hospital

Jiangsu Cancer Hospital, also known as Jiangsu Institute of Cancer Research and the affiliated cancer hospital of Nanjing Medical University, is a 3A-grade cancer hospital, which was derived from Jiangsu Hospital founded in 1960. In 2015, Jiangsu Cancer Hospital was listed among the Top 100 Best Hospitals in China for the first time.

The hospital actively promotes cancer prevention methods and treatments throughout Jiangsu province. It has 1,161 beds and employs 1,581 staff working across 25 clinical and medical departments, including two state key clinical specialty units, four provincial clinical specialty units, three specialty clinical diagnosis and treatment centers and three provincial quality control centers.

There are seven research laboratories and one clinical cancer laboratory in the hospital. It also operates five influential academic research centers –– Jiangsu Cancer Biotherapy Center, the Clinical Research Center for Precision Medicine and the first batch of clinical application pilot units for the Clinical Application of Sequencing in China.
