Founded in 1950, Wuxi Woman and Enfants Care Hospital is the first specialized 3A-level hospital –– the highest rating of China's three-tier grading system for public hospitals.

Located in downtown Wuxi area, the hospital offers comprehensive medical treatment, education, and scientific research. It became an affiliated hospital of Nanjing Medical University in 2003.

Wuxi Woman and Enfants Care Hospital covers an area of 31 mu (2.07 hectares) and has a floor area of 99,700 square meters. It currently has a total 680 beds and employs 1,127 staff members.

The hospital is renowned both within the province and across the country for its high-quality services, as well as its expertise in two provincial key clinical specialties –– gynecology and obstetrics. It has established partnerships with prestigious national hospitals in order to seek further development, including with Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-seen University and the Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University (Shanghai Red House Ob & Gyn Hospital).
