During the 2019 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) held from March 28 to 30 in Macao, two new energy vehicle models manufactured by Guizhou Changjiang Automobile Co made their debut and caught the attention of visitors.

One of the models is a passenger car that uses a 75 kilowatt hour battery that can be charged in half an hour and supports driving over 600 kilometers with the fastest speed of 160 km per hour.

The other model is a bus adopting hydrogen fuel cell that allows the bus to drive at least 350 km when fully loaded. The bus can be refueled in nine minutes and discharges water only.

The low noise and zero emission features make the vehicles environmentally friendly and meet the needs of sustainable development.

The idea of green development is not only embodied in the products, but also in the manufacturing processes of Guizhou Changjiang, who adopts smart production lines to improve productivity while saving resources.

According to Ye Ziqing, president of Guizhou Changjiang, the company hopes to communicate with environmental protection companies from all over the world at the exhibition and provide more green traveling solutions.

As an annual international environmental protection event, MIECF has been creating business opportunities for green development since 2008, and has become a key platform to promote environmental cooperation in the Belt and Road regions, the Pan-Pearl River Delta, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Portuguese speaking countries, and Europe.
