Chinese businesspeople living overseas are flocking to take part in the development of the Guangdong- Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area, attracted by generous preferential policies and a clear development plan for the future.

Indeed, the area is currently experiencing an influx of industry capital and significant numbers of high-tech projects are being set up.

The Greater Bay Area forms part of a national strategy to develop a world-class urban agglomeration where domestic firms can utilize experience from overseas and become globally competitive.

Thanks to their connections around the world, including important business and political relationships, Chinese businesspeople with experience operating in foreign markets can make a significant impact on the area. In addition, they help bring in capital, new management ideas and an international vision.

And they in turn can benefit from a multitude of attractive investment opportunities.

This year, to further promote the area around the world, Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce will hold the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Overseas Chinese Business Cooperation Forum, with the intention of making it an annual event.

Through the forum, it is hoped that the profile of the area will be enhanced and more overseas Chinese will bring their skills and capital to the area, while helping domestic firms to enter new overseas markets.
