The West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong XRL

The West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link is located in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is an international new railway passenger terminal and was officially opened on Sept 23, 2018.

The Hong Kong Port Area and the Chinese Mainland Port Area are both set up in West Kowloon Station. Entry and exit inspections are carried out in the same place. The two sides conduct separate entry and exit supervision and inspection according to their respective laws.

The West Kowloon Station has four floors and covers 380,000 square meters. The mainland port area is about 109,000 square meters, and has 30 self-help and 18 manual inspection channels. The Hong Kong port area is about 24,100 square meters, with 66 manual channels and 22 self-service channels in the entrance hall, and 32 manual counters and 29 self-service channels in the departure hall.

The customs clearance flow is 200,000 person-time per day.
