3. Cycling route across the sea

This cycle track is an environmentally friendly addition to the landscape around Xinglin Bay, which is near the Jimei district of the city. Along the path are a wide variety of views, including modern high-rise, old buildings and waterscapes.

The path has several sections and six main entrances. One of the sections was built above water, which is the only one of its kind in Xiamen city and worth visiting. This section is about 2.6 km long, and can be directly reached through the entrances near the Xiamen campus of Huaqiao University and the Aquatic Sports Center.
