A group of visitors ascend a flight of stairs in a set of ice caves on their opening day at Yunqiu Mountain, Shanxi province, March 21. The extremely rare cave system opened to visitors following a 16-year wait, as they were properly mapped and checked to ensure they were safe enough for visitors to enter. The developed section of the cave system measures a total length of 100 meters, is 12 m wide and is 15 m high at its highest point. The caves feature stalactites, stalagmites and ice walls throughout the system. [Photo/sxgov.cn]
