Qionghai recently arranged for 20 trained bilingual guides who can speak both Chinese and English to serve at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2019, which will start on March 26 in Boao, Hainan province.

The guides were selected from over 40 volunteers, all of which were from local enterprises and public institutions. Their responsibilities will include explaining Qionghai's construction achievements in places like Shamei and Nanqiang villages in Boao town and Beireng village in Jiaji town. They will also ensure that high-quality services are available to visitors.

The volunteers underwent service training, where they were taught basic theoretical knowledge, fundamental skills, and polite, professional etiquette.

The Qionghai municipal Party committee also enlisted six television hosts as volunteers due to their articulation and eloquence when speaking and their knowledge of local rural areas. They are expected to provide a better experience for visitors and guests.

The BFA Annual Conference 2019 is held to high standards and will present a challenge to volunteers' professional skills, physical fitness, resilience, patience, and persistence. Despite this, volunteers are expected to provide quality services and remain polite and courteous.
