IM's first double-academician expert workstation unveiled

The first double-academician expert workstation was unveiled at Inner Mongolia High-grade Highway Construction and Development Co Ltd in Hohhot, the capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on March 22.

As the region's first workstation with two academicians and their teams, the station will make use of existing scientific research and innovation platforms to research Inner Mongolia’s green highway construction, the resource recycling of solid waste and steel slag in road construction, and key technologies for highway tunnel construction and operation in high latitude and cold regions.

Expert workstations are being installed to provide high-level talents and key technical support for the region to build an ecological highway system featuring resource saving, ecological environmental protection, energy saving, high efficiency, and service upgrading.
