Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group

Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group, founded in 1951, has grown into a large-scale modernized enterprise group specializing in the industrial chains of engine and petrochemical engineering. Located in Yulin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Yuchai Group ranks among the top 500 Chinese enterprises with a brand value of 41.6 billion yuan ($6 billion) and is the country's largest internal combustion engine manufacturer.

The group boasts more than 30 wholly-owned, holding, and joint-stock companies and its total assets recorded 37 billion yuan ($5.52 billion) in 2015. Their industrial distribution centers are located in Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Hubei, Sichuan, Liaoning, and Chongqing.

As a national high and new technology enterprise, the group is in possession of outstanding research and development capability, and it has set up two research institutions in Nanning and Yulin. The group has strengthened cooperation with several well-known universities and research institutions at home and abroad to promote independent innovation and development. The group was highly praised by customers in China and internationally regarding its good quality and strong reputation. Several large construction projects, like the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, have been bolstered by Yuchai's quality and manufacturing strength.

In recent years, Yuchai Group has accelerated its transformation and upgrading efforts to develop high-end equipment manufacturing. They are expected to foster a new equipment (internal combustion engine) manufacturing base in three to five years.

In 2017, the group was actively involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and improved innovation-driven development. Its sales revenue exceeded 35.6 billion yuan  with a year-on-year growth of 13.27 percent.
