Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Corporation, a major automobile manufacturer based in Liuzhou, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is jointly held by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Liuzhou Industrial Holdings Limited Company.

Formerly known as Liuzhou Farm Machinery Factory, which was founded in 1954, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Corporation is the first automobile manufacturer in Guangxi. Occupying an area of 2.13 million square meters, the corporation boasts bases for machining, commercial vehicles, and passenger vehicles. Dongfeng Liuzhou is the commercial and passenger vehicle production base and the self-owned brand development base of Dongfeng Motor Group in southern China. It is also Dongfeng’s Southeast Asian export base and an important automobile industry base of Guangxi.

Focusing on independent research and development, the corporation has produced various vehicle types covering family cars, business cars, SUVs, MPVs, and electric vehicles. Its Fengxing MPVs were appointed as the transportation provider for the previous China-ASEAN Expo. Boasting a complete automobile manufacturing process, exemplary supporting facilities, and supreme engine manufacturing ability, the corporation has invested and built B+ engine projects, marking a new milestone for Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor. The first phase was constructed and put into operation in September 2015.

According to its overall development strategy, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor will strive to develop its commercial and passenger vehicles. In 2017, its annual sales volume amounted to 285,000, growing for the third consecutive year, of which commercial vehicles were 55,000 with total sales revenue of 26 billion yuan ($3.88 billion), both setting a new high in the company’s history.
