Zhuhai further improves business climate

Zhuhai's business environment continues to improve with the further promotion of citywide universal processing of administrative services initiated last August. It has brought a lot of convenience in business registration, license application, project approval, and other procedures.

So far, 1,302 administrative procedures can be completed at municipal and district administrative service centers or at local service windows set up by a government department.

Last year, Zhuhai took the lead in releasing administrative measures for local standards for public services in Guangdong, under which the time to set up a company and approve it for social investment projects was further reduced. Overall satisfaction with government public services ranked third in the province. Zhuhai also streamlined administration and delegated power to increase efficiency.

Ren Jingjing, board chairwoman and general manager of Guangdong Dingyi Interconnection Company of Science & Technology, said that her company enjoyed a tax deduction of over 500,000 yuan ($74,537) last year thanks to the full implementation of national preferential policies. Ren also praised the procedures for establishing a branch company in Zhuhai which previously took a month but were completed in just three days.
