Jinwan plans Intelligent Logistics Park to boost airport

Construction is to commence in September of Zhuhai Airport International Intelligent Logistics Park with opening set for 2020, it was announced Feb 26 at a Jinwan District meeting.

Adjacent to Haicheng Village opposite the Airshow Center, the park will cover about 7.2 hectares (18 acres). Some 380 million yuan (76.8 million) is designated for cold logistics chains, cross-border e-commerce, all-cargo aircraft, and import-export logistics.

Zhuhai Aviation City Logistics Co, the responsible unit, was required by Jinwan government officials to plan with high aims and develop with high standards. The park is to become an international freight port through in-depth cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao.
