Jilin plans trade promotion work for 2019

A meeting to discuss Jilin's efforts to promote trade during 2019 was held in Changchun, the provincial capital, on Feb 26.

Representatives from trade promotion departments of the province's cities attended the meeting.

In 2019, the province will continue to chase foreign trade, and maximize opportunities created by its hosting of the 12th China-Northeast Asia Expo.

In order to encourage firms to export products to countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and international markets, the province will help them to learn about relevant market regulations in different countries, in order to help local firms avoid legal problems.
