Highlights of Harbin’s work in 2018, promising 2019 ahead

The fourth session of the 15th Harbin People's Congress opened in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, on Jan 8. The session saw the release of the latest government work report, which highlighted the city's great achievements over the past year.

According to statistics, the total output value of Harbin in 2018 is estimated to have increased by 5.5 percent compared with the previous year, while the general public budget revenue hit 38.44 billion yuan ($5.68 billion), up 4.4 percent year-on-year.
