CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd

CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd, founded in 1954, is a well-known export base for railway vehicle's R&D, manufacturing, and maintenance in China. Covering an area of more than 4,500,000 square meters, it has a registered capital of 5.8 billion yuan ($296.65 million) currently.

It is mainly engaged in the R&D, manufacturing, and maintenance of high-speed electric multiple units (EMU), mainline passenger vehicles, as well as urban mass transit vehicles. Currently, the annual production capacity of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd has amounted to 1000 high-speed EMUs, 1200 urban mass transit vehicles, 500 mainline passenger vehicles, and 6000 bogies.

Being the earliest and largest exporter among the same industry in China, its products have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Singapore, New Zealand, Argentina, and Ethiopia. The total number of vehicles exported has exceeded 8,900, with a contract value of more than $12 billion.
