A joyous atmosphere lingers in Xiangzhou District

On Jan 18, the curtain fell on Xiangzhou's yearlong series of cultural and artistic activities, and a fantastic collection of annual highlights were shown at the Ningxi Cultural Plaza.

Having just finished its third consecutive year, the "Cultural Xiangzhou·Colorful Seasons" event is well-liked by local residents as it gives them a platform to demonstrate their talents. The series of activities includes painting in the summer, dancing in the autumn and singing in the winter. This year, nearly 4,000 artists in 330 troupes participated in the activities. Amateur performers from nine sub-districts of Xiangzhou also contributed many highlights.

Other activities included fine arts competitions, calligraphy, photography, and dancing/singing contests.
