Ereenhot maintains growth in foreign trade

Ereenhot in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region received foreign trade value of 21.96 billion yuan ($3.2 billion) in Jan-Nov 2018, up by 16.9 percent year-on-year, according to Ereenhot municipal government.

Of that amount, import value was 15.69 billion yuan and export value was 6.27 billion yuan, year-on-year increases of 12.6 percent and 29.45 percent, reflecting sharp growth in minor border trade.

The major commodities imported included copper ore, iron ore and pulp. In addition, the export of mechanical, electrical and agricultural products also increased substantially.
