Located at the Changchun World Sculpture Park, a world of ice and snow sculptures opened to the public in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, on Jan 1.

Workers have been making the ice and snow sculptures in the park since the beginning of December 2018. Nearly 100,000 cubic meters of snow and 10,000 cubic meters of ice have been used, with more than 30 million yuan ($4.37 million) poured in.

The park will showcase a total of 200 ice and snow sculptures, including those themed around China's four decades of reform and opening-up and the old city gate of Changchun.

In addition, ice and snow sports such as snow slides and bumper cars on ice, art performances at exhibition halls, as well as delicious food are available during the event.

It will be open to the public until Feb 20, with tickets sold from 9:00 to 21:00 at prices of 30 yuan (only for the park) and 60 yuan (for park and exhibition halls).
