Nalati Grassland is located east of Nalati town of Xinyuan county. It is the sub-alpine meadow of Gongnaisi Grassland and one of the four largest grasslands in the world. Due to its high altitude and steep terrain, it is also known as the “Sky Grassland”.

There are a number of events that have taken place in this “Cradle of Kazaks”. The hospitable Kazakh herdsmen receive guests with their unique customs and culture. The vast verdant grassland is dotted with colorful wild flowers from June to September, with the surrounding snow mountains, white clouds, blue sky making it more charming.
