Located in the eastern part of Jiangxi Province, Dajue Mountain, with a peak elevation of 1,647 meters, covers a total area of 204 square kilometers. Dajue Mountain Scenic Area is divided into two parts, the east that contains the primitive forest tourist area with 300,000 mu of original forest as its core, and the west that consists of a comprehensive tourism area with religious culture and canyon drifting as its main body.

Dajue Peak is the core landscape attraction in the scenic area. It looks like the Sakyamuni Pagoda standing in the beautiful scenery of a mysterious nature. The scenic area built a cableway at an altitude of 300 meters to 1,200 meters with a total length of 30 kilometers. It links the foothills to the hilltop temple and offers perfect view along the cliff landscape.

Dajue Temple is another popular spot in the scenic area. It is a huge granite cave, with a depth of 69 meters, a width of 99 meters, and a height of 19 meters. It consists of seven parts, including the main hall, Ksitigarbha’s hall, and more. Dajue Mountain Town is also built to be a leisure resort at the foot of Dajue Mountain. It covers an area of more than 60 mu (4 hectares) with an investment of 60 million yuan ($8.71 million). Dajue Mountain Canyon Drafting is the most exciting activity here. It passes through a valley, three bay, six pools, and nine waterfalls with a length of 3.6 kilometers and a drop of 188 meters.

Other scenic spots, such as the space walkway, Nantianmen, and the mysterious stone pagoda, also attract tourist from around the world every year.
