(保定市野三坡景区 bǎo dìng shì yě sān pō jǐng qū)

Yesanpo Scenic Spot is located at the junction of Taihang Mountains and Yanshan Mountains in Laishui county, Baoding, Hebei province. It is about 100 kilometers to the west of Beijing.

The scenic spot was developed in 1986. Covering 600 square kilometers, it is a rare tourist resort in North China that features both natural scenery and cultural relics and heritage.

There are 72 highlights dotted at the scenic spot, including Bailixia Gorge, Yugu Cave and Longmengtianguan Valley. The scenic spot is an ideal destination any time of the year, especially in summer when its average temperature is about 22 C. Several kinds of recreational outdoor activities are offered at that time, including rafting.
