Visiting World Tourism leader praises Ocean Kingdom

Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom (Hengqin) was hailed on Oct 24 as a world-class theme resort truly worth a visit by tourists from around the world.

Zurab Pololikashvili, secretary-general of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), made the announcement at Chimelong while attending the Global Tourism Economy Forum 2018 in Macao. He had been elected by the 22nd Session of UNWTO General Assembly on Jan 1.

KaKa's Great Adventure, an original animation by Chimelong, presented Pololikashvili with thrilling 5D cinema effects. Accompanied by Su Zhigang, chairman of Chimelong Group, he also visited world-advanced exhibitions of rare marine animals such as white whales, penguins, and whale sharks.

The attraction also welcomed a group of more than 300 tourists from Hong Kong and Taiwan. They were taken to the resort by shuttle buses running on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge that opened to traffic on the same day.
