Jiangya Hot Spring Resort is not only the first hot spring resort in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, but also the only western Hunan-style semi-open hot spring. It has more than 20 kinds of high-standard open-air and indoor hot spring pools with different characteristics.

The outlet temperature of the spring water is kept at about 54 C all year round. Jiangya hot spring water is rich in dozens of trace elements and minerals which are beneficial to human health, such as magnesium, calcium, zinc and selenium. The magnesium content of the water is more than 5 times that of common surface water. It has the function of regulating the excitability of nerve muscle and maintaining the intestinal tract and hormones.

The resort also incorporates Zhangjiajie's unique Tujia and Miao culture into hot spring tourism, with tourists able to experience Taoist health culture, natural scenery and folk culture.
