Warm reception given to foreign experts

A group of more than one hundred foreign experts from over 20 countries were invited to an evening party to celebrate the 69th National Day in Changchun on Sept 27.

Hosted by the People's Government of Jilin Province, Foreign Expert Administration of Jilin and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Jilin, the party entertained the guests with a series of wonderful performances presented by singers and dancers from home and abroad.

Wu Jingping, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Jilin Province, attended the gathering and delivered a speech. He extended his gratitude to the foreign experts for their significant contributions to Jilin’s economical development over the past decades, and encouraged them to participate more in the social development of Jilin.

According to Wu, Jilin will continue to upgrade its policies in introducing foreign experts so as to create a more open environment for foreign enterprises and boost international communications.
