Import and export trading center opens in Changchun

The first import and export commodities demonstration and trading center of Jilin province opened at the Xinglong Integrated Free Trade Zone in Changchun on Sept 28.

Commodities imported from more than 20 countries and regions are packed for sale in the four-story building. Foreign luxury cars, including Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Benz are available on the first floor, along with a series of insurance services. The second and third floors serve all kinds of foreign brand household products, including foods, wine and cosmetics. The top floor offers the costumers Jilin's local specialties.

Located at the center of the Changjitu area (Changchun city, Jilin city and the Tumen River region) of Jilin province, Xinglong Integrated Free Trade Zone shoulders the major responsibility of developing the province’s import and export trade. A series of supporting facilities have recently been built to provide comprehensive services for Changchun citizens.

"The center combines general trade with cross-border e-commerce, allowing people to purchase more offline while still enjoy high quality products from around the globe," said Lv Dong, vice director of the management committee of the Xinglong Integrated Free Trade Zone.
