Two new Exit-Entry services have been established to fulfill the needs of non-native residents of Changchun, Jilin province since Sept 1, according to the Exit-Entry Department of the Public Security Office of Changchun on Sept 21.

The 16 Exit-Entry service windows in the city now allows non-natives to reapply or replace their passports and Exit-Entry permits for travelling to and from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Group visas can also be issued for residents with legitimate passports or Exit-Entry permits, sparing them from running errands back to their hometowns.

Ever since the city government launched the "One-Stop Service" initiative on July 10, the Exit-Entry services have drastically been reformed and streamlined. Up to now, about 27 passport-related services can be dealt with once and for all in the capital city of Jilin province.

What's more, a couple of intelligent service halls are also currently under construction in Changchun and will soon be open to the public. The intelligent facilities, coupled with rationalized processes, will offer citizens one-stop experiences in handling Exit-Entry affairs.
