Wu Qiang

Male, Dong ethic group, born in August 1966, Xinhuang, Hunan Province, joined the work force in August 1988, joined the Communist Party of China in November 1994, has a graduate degree, masters in engineering, and planning degree.

Wu is currently the vice-governor of Guizhou Province, responsible for poverty alleviation, relocation and reservoir resettlement, rural revitalization, housing and urban and rural construction, agriculture, water conservancy, forestry, grain, flue-cured tobacco and cigarette production, and in charge of the safe production work in the region. He is devoted to the construction of the Party and an honest and clean government.

He is in charge of the Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Department, the Provincial Agricultural Committee, the Provincial Water Conservancy Department, the Provincial Forestry Department, the Provincial Grain Bureau, the Provincial Poverty Alleviation Office, the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Provincial Reservoir and Ecological Immigration Bureau, the Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, and the Provincial Agricultural Comprehensive Development Office.

He is the liaison for the Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, Provincial Meteorological Bureau, State Forestry Bureau Commissioner Office in Guiyang, Guizhou China Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd., and Guizhou Branch of China Grain Storage.
