With persistent efforts by all staff members and eminent predecessors for over 80 years since its founding in 1936, The First Hospital of Quanzhou has grown into a tertiary hospital that integrates healthcare, higher medical education and scientific research. It currently houses 2106 inpatients beds, 51 wards, 42 clinical departments, 12 medical technology departments and 17 functional departments. It also features 5 provincial clinical key specialties and 8 municipal clinical key specialties.
