Highways in Shanxi

Shanxi makes achievements in developing highway network.

Shanx province's highways have extended 5,335 kilometers and formed a road traffic network with 21 highway exits connecting to other provinces and roads along more than 100,000 kilometers by the end of 2017, ranking at the forefront in China.

Currently, it takes visitors up to three hours by land to head from Taiyuan, the provincial capital, to most 4A and 5A tourist attractions in Shanxi.
