Chenggong Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University (also known as The 174th Hospital of PLA) is a tertiary hospital - the highest level of China's three-tier grading system for public hospitals - with 1200 inpatient beds and over 1300 staff. As a cradle for the medical talents, the hospital offers training courses to students from Anhui Medical University, Xiamen University, The Fourth Military Medical University, Nanchang University and Fujian Medical University. It has won more than 100 awards for its scientific and technological advancement and published 40 SCI papers.
