Zhangjiakou-Hohhot high-speed rail tracks completed

With the last piece of rail sleeper safely put in place in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on July 31, the rail track laying project for Zhangjiakou-Hohhot high-speed railway was fully completed, laying foundations for the railway’s opening on schedule. With an overall length of 286.8 kilometers, Zhangjiakou-Hohhot high-speed railway is the first high-speed railway in North China’s Inner Mongolia, with travelling speeds up to 250 kilometers per hour.
